Hello you lovely people who are reading this! Yes, you are lovely, better believe it!
Today I have some MVIB swatches for you - I was super excited about this polish (remember my haul post) so I swatched this one immediately but I hadn't had time yet to put it up here.
You probably have seen a dozen swatches of OPI's My Vampire Is Buff already, but I haven't done swatches of MVIB yet so voila - I'm doing them now!
In these pictures I have three coats of MVIB on - I found that with two coats, there were still some bald spots here and there so three coats worked best for me. The formula was great, I have no complaints about that. Drying time was also quite quick, but I applied a fast drying top coat over it just to be safe.
I'll be having a design with MVIB very soon for you, so watch out for that! ;)
I also have a mini polish haul to show you! I had made a pact with myself to not buy polish until after my papers and exams were finished, but there was a promotion in my local store that wasn't going to last very long so I quickly went and bought some things (naughty me).
I picked up this cute Essie Haute in the Heat pack with three mini polishes:
As you can see, it has Ruffles and Feathers, Haute in the Heat, and Roarrrrange in it. I really wanted Ruffles and Feathers and I quite liked Haute in the Heat too (I know that one's very similar to some other Essie polishes, but I don't have anything like it in my collection yet). I normally don't wear orange nail polish, but I thought I should try to break that habit and see how it goes! I think Roarrrrange is perfect for hot summer days :)
And finally I picked up two Herôme polishes: one ridge filling base coat, and one top coat (which, as you can see, was a free gift - I haven't managed to get that stupid sticker of yet). These bottles are a bit ridiculous though - I mean, how uselessly high can you go?! It was hard to get them in a good picture haha :)
I'm glad I got the ridge filling base coat - I hope I'l be able to wear Push and Shove properly now, without any flaws of my nails showing! Must try it out soon ;)
Did you get any of the Essie Haute in the Heat polishes? Which colours do you like?
Thanks for reading!

Oh, those Essie colors look great! Perfect for summer, all of them.
They do right?! I'm looking forward to using them :) Roarrrrange is already screaming at me to use it in a loud pink-orange gradient! :D
nice color!:)
I think green Essie's the best:"D
Thanks Ela! Yeah, Ruffles and Feathers is also the polish I'm looking forward to the most! :)
very strange, i never saw anyof these Essie polishes, even though I joined the German Essie VIP thing... but these colors look interesting, i'll watch out for them!
Oh that's very strange indeed! A lot of bloggers I follow had swatched this collection so I was quite curious about them :) Maybe they'll be released in Germany a bit later than in other countries (I get that a lot with OPI in my country).
I love these Essie, fantastic collection for hot days :)
Yes, the green Essie polish looks amazing. And I love the shape of your nails on these pictures.
Thanks a lot! :)
Yes you're absolutely right! Lovely bright shades for summer :)
People always say MViB is the perfect base for nail art, but it's really gorgeous on its own as well! Haha, I can never resist a sale either :)
Hehe it is! I feel a tiny bit guilty for breaking my promise to myself though, but then again: I now have some pretty new polishes ;)
Fabulous haul! This nude shade looks gorgeous, I bet your going to make some beautiful nail art with it :) Also yay for the Essie and Herome, I love both those brands! xx
Those mini Essie polishes are so cute. I think my favourite one is Haute in the Heat. You remind me of me, breaking your own 'rule' of no shopping until exams are done, haha.
my vampire if buff is such a great base color *.*
i really love the Essies, especially the green one. too bad in germany we just got the resort collection ;)
Thank you! Yeah I'm very happy with MViB, it's absolytely the perfect nude for me! I haven't tried much from Herôme yet but if you say you love it it can't be bad! :)
I know! Cute little mini bottles! The only downside is, then again, that they're mini bottles :/ But I suppose I can still snatch up a big bottle if I really adore a colour :) Hehe, I'm glad I'm not the only one breaking the rules!
MViB is indeed great! Not too pink, not too brown, not too yellow - I adore it :) Oh, is Essie that far behind in Germany? That sucks... I have the same thing here in Belgium with OPI!
